Background
At the time of her disappearance, Whitney lived with a roommate in Stone Mountain and worked for Harry Normal Realtors in Buckhead. She was an aspiring actress.
Disappearance
Around 9:30 pm on April 22, 1998, Whitney Reddick left the High Point Apartment Complex on Young Road in Lithonia, Georgia. She hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
She visited her boyfriend that evening for about 30 minutes, and presumably left to return home. According to her boyfriend, she left his apartment without saying goodbye.
Whitney did not report for work, and has had zero contact with family. Loved ones say it’s highly uncharacteristic of her to go missing without warning, as she’s always been reliable and responsible.
She was officially reported missing on April 24, 1998.
Investigation
Whitney was last seen driving a lavender-grey 1997 4 door Geo Prism with Georgia plate 345HZE. The car was rented from Enterprise, since Whitney’s own car was badly damaged in an accident three days prior to her disappearance.
She refused medical attention following the accident, but may be disoriented due to a head injury. Whitney’s father, who spoke to her following the accident said she “sounded disoriented.”
Neither Whitney or the Geo Prism have ever been found.
Appearance
Black female with black hair and brown eyes. Whitney stands 5’2 tall and weighs 120 pounds.
