This show definitely brought a lot of attention to the Holly Cantrell missing person case out of McAlester, Oklahoma. https://www.statewidepi.com

Great it’s back , but sadly not anywhere near as good as the old ones 😪 the music and over voice Not that great, but still good. Just found the disappeared update on the net fab ! From Scotland 🏴
Really? Sadly not as good as the old ones, you realize they are REAL PEOPLE, somebodies mom daughter son dad etc. and you’re worried about how good an episode is.
You are 100% correct! The entire point of the show isn’t to entertain people! It’s to get the word out about people’s loved one’s that missing or dead and they are looking for answers. It’s sad that some people’s focus is on whether or not the show is as entertaining as it use to be.
Great to see its back to its very best, back with the old voice over, into music good and the cases again really interesting. Hope more are found safe
Correction on your post; Satara Stratton’s manner of death is UNDETERMINED You need to check with the coroner to post the correct information. Satara was a victim of human trafficking and drugs were used as weapons to control her, it was not her choice.
If you know that FOR SURE, you go ahead and post YOUR sources. Unless you have additional evidence to contradict what is presented here, your words are no better than the words of this source.
Will there be a 10th season?
Investigation Discovery has not made an official announcement regarding season 10 yet. If it follows a schedule similar to last year I’d expect it to start in March. I’ll post an update as soon as I hear anything.
Please bring disappeared back! It has helped so many families.😦😦
Considering many episodes feature cases that were found to be homicides years ago, I don’t think the continual repeated airings are helpful to the grieving families and friends of the deceased.
Do you really think that there are things that actually make the loved ones grieve more? I think that they’d prefer to have attention on the cases if it means being able to bring charges against the vilains.
give me a break buddy, every show on this network is repeated and gives accounts of people who have been murdered, this is the only show that gives the families the exposure they definitely want to try and help find their missing loved ones…you got it backwards…but thanks for clarifying what you think everybody’s moral standards should be.
Come on get it back ASAP
Although the stories have occurred, I watch every episode and think the exposure is what the families need to solve their loved ones disappearance.
So sad these stories have occurred, I watch every episode and think the exposure is what the families need to solve their loved ones disappearance.
The makers of Disappeared clearly only do the programme for money.
As you can see, above, some of these people’s cases have been resolved (usually deceased) and some were resolved 10 years ago, yet these old shows are repeatedly shown without even updated info added to the end!
Imagine the distress and heartache these repeats give to the deceased featured person’s family and friends. Yet the producers continue to have old, resolved, cases repeatedly aired without an addendum.
A series of updates would be interesting, but they won’t even do that, as to not devalue their old solved episodes.
Immoral and avaricious.
Yes they do it for money. Do you work for sh!tz and giggles?uh no. That’s what I thought. Shut up from now on. Disappeared is name, don’t mean they still have to be disappeared. Sometimes it’s about a family’s story. But for you and I it’s ENTERTAINMENT
You post
In 2012, the year Satara’s episode originally aired, she was found safe in a Los Angeles hospital.
On February 2, 2017 Satara Stratton was found deceased. The manner of death was an overdose
PLEASE READ CORONER’S REPORT UPDATE CORRECTION.
This is not an OD but undertermined, complications if human trafficking.
If you want to post please do so correctly!
Please bring back this wonderful show. It has brought closure to so many people with missing loved ones. We need more exposure to help find missing people. Just today I sent a request to the “Disappeared” show to help find a missing 25 year old husband and father who took a walk on Saturday July 6th, 2019 in Gering Nebraska and was never seen again. I was then informed that they didn’t think the show was on anymore. I hope they were wrong, and if not I hope you come back.
Thanks
Rose
Chance? I know the family💔I thought of them as well
PLEASE DO A SEASON 10,THIS SHOW IS AMAZING JUST LIKE THE OLD,”UNSOLVED MYSTERIES” WAY BACK IN THE 80’s/90’s with ROBERT STACK!!!
I think the stories aired on syndication helps tells cautionary tales, let’s people appreciate and know/remember those who have passed, and teaches the rest of us to never miss an opportunity to let our loved ones know they ARE loved.
I hope this is brought back. It brought a lot of attention to many cases, that helped the family. If they do ever bring it back,or love for one about a cousin of mine (missing since 12/1984) to be done.
Please bring back this show! My favorite show of all time!
Wish my niece was featured… she was 20 murdered left to die next to a gas station but not solved from 2016. We miss her.
Good show. ..hope the people could be found alive but then 98% of the disappeared ends up being deceased. We also learn a lot from the programme.
I watch this program every day, its a good program too.
Hope they do more of them.
Greetings from Göteborg, Sweden 🇸🇪
I think this show brings a lot of knowledge to people, what to do in case you’re in the situation that a loved one goes missing and how easily remains of people are missed then found so close to where their vehicle or last know sighting was. It allows people to use the techniques others have been successful with to help in searches. I love the show and I appreciate the light it brings to the unknown grounds you walk on when you’re loved one happens to go missing, God forbid.
The programme hightens awareness of such cases and how easily it can happen. Hopefully it also helps locate missing persons . Another programme called sensing murder uses psychic investigators to find evidence that is remarkable effective. Their skills coud be used in unknown missing cases too, especially when there are no leads.
what channel is this new show “sensing murder” on….. having experienced paranormal and having famed medium Lorraine Warren actually visit me in my home….. she was able to tell me things about mt father who had passed some 20 years before and even recounted stories only he and I knew about……
I have watched this show since it has been on. I do catch myself shedding a few tears for these missing people. I always listen carefully to the stories and hope at the end of each show there will be a positive outcome for the missing. I hope the show continues. Has anyone heard if it will be back on?
Sensing Murder is an New Zealand TV program with a unique concept of using Australia’s & New Zealand most popular psychics. They have to provide the name & dob of a solved murder case using only a photo face down. The two that guess correctly are chosen to take part in a specific episode. They are each filmed separately on different days over an 8 hour period in a undisclosed hotel room with only a camera crew, driver, map & photo which most choose to keep the photo face down. They have to provide personal details of the specific person, how they died, when they died & who was responsible. The whole concept of the show has been verified as authentic from start to finish by journalists & TV presenters from around the world. Any leads the psychics provide are investigated by ex high ranking open minded police officers. Given that a majority of the murdered victims are Aborigine or Mauri whos families & loved ones continue to be discriminated against & unfairly judged on a daily basis compared to other Australians. They are also known to be extremely spiritual & it’s them who contact sensing murder not the other way round. In my opinion this info confirms the programs authenticity. The chosen psychics are well known & popular in their own right. There are similar programs that are European or American produced but are not a patch on the NZ show. Some Episodes are free to watch on YouTube or Pluto tv. Like Disappeared I wish these type of programs never ended because people continue to disappear & or be murdered and some cases will always be investigated more thoroughly than others. I hope you enjoy the series
If I hadn’t watched episodes of Disappeared I never would of known about the majority of these cases. I can’t imagine the agony families & friends must endure. The not knowing has to be unbearable.
Bring it back this is an excellent series.I am hooked and would like to see more.Maybe even a series on previous unsolved cases which have now been solved!
Yes my wife and I would like to see more seasons of Disappeared. And when you do please retain the final comments before an episode closes so that it can be read and digested. Sometimes we watch a show for an hour or so … get to the end … and then Disappeared adds a closing comment about the missing person. So often that comment is so short that we cannot fully read it and digest it in only a second or so. Just a bit longer exposure to that final comment would help immensely. Thanks for considering.
