Bell was diagnosed with diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis, two conditions for which she required weekly injections. She had also suffered from pneumonia in early March 2018.
Disappearance
On March 5, 2018, Tracie Bell didn’t call in to work and failed to show up at the Cook County State Attorney’s Office where she was employed as a secretary. This was out of character for her as she was described as a very dependable employee.
On March 6, 2018, authorities performed a welfare check at her condominium in Richton Park, Illinois. They found Bell at home, stating she appeared uninjured but disoriented.
Paramedics were called to check her blood sugar level as Bell had recently been diagnosed as diabetic. She was cooperative and seemed “to be in a right frame of mind” when they left.
On March 7, 2018, authorities made another welfare check to her home when she failed to call in or show up for work again, but this time Tracie was nowhere to be seen.
Tracie Bell hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
Investigation
Tracie’s vehicle was found parked outside her condominium in Richton Park, Illinois. According to the Richton Park Police Department, Bell appeared to have just walked away.
Bell disappeared along with her cell phone, but her phone record and bank account have had no activity since she disappeared.
Whereabouts
Police found no evidence for foul play in Tracie Bell’s disappearance. The circumstances of Tracie’s disappearance remain unclear and her case is currently classified as missing. Her case remains unsolved.

African-American female born in January of 1964. Tracie has black hair, brown eyes, stands 5’8 tall, and weighs 150 – 200 pounds.

Tracie’s ears are pierced.
Clothing and accessories:
Tracie was last seen wearing a dark colored hooded parka and dark colored pants. She was possibly wearing a stackable sterling silver ring set with semiprecious stones.
