Authorities have declined to comment on a potential connection between Kronos’ disappearance and Anchorage Police Department (APD) Officer Christopher Sternhagen, who is Kronos’ neighbor.

Property records confirm that Sternhagen lives in a duplex directly behind Kronos’ home, which APD and the Federal Bureau of Investigation searched for three days in April.

Police have not commented on why the home was searched, what was found, and why the FBI became involved.

“The detectives are working different angles on every piece of information that they’ve gathered,” Lieutenant Denielle Hrovat, of APD’s Violent Crimes Unit, told Alaska’s News Source.
