57 year old Thomas Fleming was last seen in Glendale, Missouri on June 16, 2016. He disappeared after driving away from his mother’s house, located on Country Club Lane.
Disappearance
Around 11:00 am on June 16, 2016, Thomas Fleming was last seen driving away from his mother’s home on Country Club Lane in Glendale, Missouri.
He was driving his silver 2007 Nissan Versa with Missouri plate number FC1-J3T. The vehicle has a large red Panda sticker in the rear windshield.
Thomas hasn’t been seen since. He does not have his diabetes medication with him and has a history of depression.
At the time of his disappearance, Thomas lived with his wife at an apartment complex on Old Big Bend Road in Kirkwood, Missouri.
Investigation
None of Fleming’s credit cards or bank accounts have been used since he went missing.
On June 28, 2016, Thomas’ vehicle was found abandoned next to a coal plant near the Mississippi River in Sauget, Illinois.
Witnesses told investigators they had seen the vehicle coming and going from the location in the days leading up to Fleming’s disappearance, but that it had been seemingly abandoned since June 16, 2016.
The vehicle was in normal working condition, with no signs of foul play inside.
The State Board of Accountability had been trying to reach Fleming on the day he disappeared, regarding accountant training hours he had fallen behind on. According to a delivery receipt, someone signed for the delivery notice at 11:16 am, shortly after Fleming left his mother’s house.
His mother’s home is about a ten minute drive from his apartment, so it’s possible he could have had time to sign for the package, though an attorney handling the state’s case found the signature questionable.
“This morning it was brought to my attention that Mr. Fleming has been reported missing,” the board’s attorney, Samantha Anne Green, wrote in a letter to the hearing commission. “Upon review of my file, it also appears that the green card certified mail receipt on file with the commission for service has a signature that differs from the signature for Mr. Fleming.”
It remains unknown if Fleming returned home and signed for the package after leaving his mother’s house.

White male with brown hair and brown eyes. Thomas stands 6’1-6’3 tall and weighs approximately 250 pounds.
Clothing & Accessories:
Thomas was last seen wearing a black and gold striped shirt, blue jeans, tennis shoes, and eyeglasses.
