Disappearance
On December 24, 2024, Teresa Mark and a male companion arrived at Newark International Airport.
The pair were detained at the airport, and Teresa was subsequently transported to Newark Beth Israel Medical Center for evaluation. Teresa fled the hospital, and may be headed to Brooklyn.
The hospital reported Teresa missing to the Newark Police Department on December 27, 2024.

According to a post by the Newark Department of Public Safety on January 3, 2025, Maki has been found unharmed; no additional information has been made public.
