Teresa Maki, a 26 year old West Palm Beace woman who went missing from Newark on December 27, 2024, has been found safe.
According to the Newark Department of Public Safety, Maki has been found unharmed; no additional information has been made public.
Maki arrived at Newark International Airport on December 24. She and her male companion were detained at the airport, and Maki was subsequently taken to Israel Medical Center for medical evaluation.
Maki fled the hospital, and was reported missing to the Newark Police Department on December 27, 2024.

Teresa Maki is from West Palm Beach, Florida and suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Disappearance
On December 24, 2024, Teresa Mark and a male companion arrived at Newark International Airport.
The pair were detained at the airport, and Teresa was subsequently transported to Newark Beth Israel Medical Center for evaluation. Teresa fled the hospital, and may be headed to Brooklyn.
The hospital reported Teresa missing to the Newark Police Department on December 27, 2024.
