An arrest was made earlier today in connection with the killing of Howard County woman Amanda Bates who has been missing since 2024.
31 year old Andreas Perches is facing charges of first-degree felony murder and failure to meet sex offender registration requirements. He is being held at Howard County Jail on a $1M bond.
39 year old Amanda Bates was last seen in the Knott/Big Springs, Texas area on September 12, 2024. Her case remains under investigation by the DPS and Howard County Sheriff’s office.
