Case Information
48 year old Stuart Isaac was last seen in Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming on September 24, 2010. He disappeared after leaving on a cross country trip from his Maryland home, and hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
Background
Stuart Isaac was born in the Pacific Island nation of Palau. At the time of his disappearance he was living with his family in Burtonsville, Maryland.
Disappearance
On September 6, 2010, Stuart Isaac left his home in Burtonsville, Maryland in his black 2009 Lexus IS-250. He left a note for his family saying he was going on a cross-country trip. The note did not state when he planned on returning.
On September 24, 2010, Stuart called one of his old friends from high school, Matsue Evens. They spoke on the phone for about two hours, with Stuart telling her he was on his way to Yellowstone (a 32 hour drive from his home in Maryland).
Matsue found the call odd since they didn’t speak on the phone often, usually keeping in touch with texts or emails.
During a routine night patrol on September 26, 2010, Stuart’s Lexus was found abandoned at Craig Pass, located on the lower grand loop road in Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. His car, which has the vanity license plate “BELLEK,” was found unlocked with the keys inside.
A search by air and ground was started immediately upon finding his vehicle, but no clues as to the whereabouts of Stuart were ever found.
Stuart was not an experienced hiker, and it remains unclear why he decided to travel to Yellowstone.
Whereabouts
The location of Stuart Isaac, as well as the circumstances surrounding his disappearance, remains unknown. His case is currently classified as lost/injured missing.
Appearance
Pacific Islander male with black hair and brown eyes. Stuart stands 5’8 tall and weighs approximately 220 pounds.
Stuart has a tattoo on each shoulder blade, and one on his right tricep. He had short cropped hair at the time he disappeared, and may have had a mustache.

It would be interesting to know what they talked about for two ( 2 ) hours , as this as stated would not be the normal means of communication that they would conduct .
What is the relationship of the family that he stayed with ? , nobody on the spur of the moment decides to travel for 32 ( thirty – two ) hours without a purpose in mind , especially since he was an experienced hiker & outdoor person
