The Disappearance of Kylee Monteiro
Kylee is a recent graduate of Attleboro High School, and was three months pregnant when she went missing, according to her sister.
She had been living in a homeless shelter in Bethesda for three weeks, amidst an ‘on an off’ relationship with her boyfriend, the father of her unborn child.
Friends have said there were some domestic issues between Monteiro and her boyfriend, although the exact nature of those issues is unclear.
According to her sister, Kylee went to the hospital just prior to her disappearance for vaginal bleeding. Due to the hospital stay, Kylee ended up missing a mandatory meeting at the shelter, which resulted in her being asked to leave.
Disappearance

On the evening of August 6, 2025, Kylee Monterio reportedly called several friends and family members following an argument with her boyfriend. She expressed fear for her safety, telling them she was in danger. One of her sisters offered to come pick her up, but Kylee declined.
On August 7, 2025, Kylee went to pick up some belongings from her boyfriend’s house on County Street in Rehoboth, Massachusetts. She hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
Her loved ones say it’s uncharacteristic of her to be out of contact for more than a day.
