Raymond Ferrieri III missing Idaho

Name: Raymond Paul Ferrieri III
Age: 24 years old
Last Seen: May 22, 2018
Location: Grangeville, Idaho
Status: Still missing

Case Information

24 year old Raymond Ferrieri III was last seen in Grangeville, Idaho on May 22, 2018. He disappeared after the vehicle he was in crashed into the Selway River.

Disappearance

At the time of his disappearance, Raymond Ferrieri III was on a hunting trip with his brother, Jesse, and four other men: Koby Clark, Jesse Gunin, Jason Lewis and Reece Rollins.

On May 22, 2018, the six men were involved in a motor vehicle accident when their Chevrolet Suburban crashed into the Selway River in Grangeville, Idaho. The accident happened approximately 2 miles upriver from Paradise Campgroun in the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness Area.

Jason Lewis and Jesse Gunin were able to escape the vehicle, however the other four men were missing.

The vehicle was pulled from the river the following day, but no bodies were inside.

In June 2018, the bodies of Koby Clark and Reece Rollins were found.

On August 16, 2020, a bone fragment was found near the Shearer airstrip. On September 26, 2020, another bone fragment was found by caretakers at the Selway Lodge. Both were later identified as belonging to Jesse Ferrieri.

Raymond remains missing.

The Idaho County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone who goes into that region to keep an eye out.

“If they find bones, which might be human, below the high-water mark — if it’s just a bone or two — we’re asking them to treat them with respect, package it carefully and take it to us,” said ICSO Detective Jerry Johnson.

“Because, in the interval, the river may rise or something may happen to it and it’s not there when we’re able to go back in. If they find bones or a partial skeleton above the high-water mark, please photograph and mark the location carefully, so we’re able to return to the site and examine it from there.”

Appearance

White male with brown hair and green eyes. Raymond stands 5’10 tall and weighs 250 pounds. He has a scar on his left hand that appears as x’s from stitches.

Raymond has an American Flag tattoo with “Made in USA” lettering on his right arm.
