40 year old Paul Flores was last seen in Chemult, Oregon on July 21, 2024. He disappeared while on a road trip from California to Washington.
Disappearance
Paul Flores disappeared while traveling from his home in Stockton, California to Moses Lake, Washington. He was going there to visit son, nieces, and two grandchildren.
On the morning of July 21, 2024, Paul Flores was in Chemult, Oregon when his vehicle, a 2007 silver Toyota Highlander, broke down on the Dalles-California Highway portion on US 97.
He walked 30-60 minutes to the nearest gas station and texted his niece, saying someone was going to give him a ride from the station back to his vehicle.
At 2:13 pm surveillance footage shows Paul leaving the Pilot Travel Center in a white sedan with what appears to be another male. He hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
Investigation
The last ping from his cell phone was from the woods off Highway 97 at approximately 1:35 am on July 22, 2024.
At 10:00 am on July 26. 2024, members of Paul’s family located his vehicle in the woods off a side road near the Three Rivers OHV staging area off Highway 97 North.
There were no signs of foul play surrounding the vehicle, however no clues as to his whereabouts were found.
His family says he would not intentionally go off the grid, and that all communications from him suggest he was trying to return to his vehicle to continue his road trip.
Appearance
Hispanic male with brown eyes and a bald head. Paul stands 5’0 tall and weighs 210 pounds. He had a mustache and goatee at the time of his disappearance and may be wearing glasses.
He has “Stockton” tattooed across his abdomen, and full sleeve tattoos on both arms.
Clothing & Accessories:
Paul was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, red shorts, and black slides with no socks. He was carrying a white charging cord for his phone.
