Case Information
53 year old Nicole Winder was last seen in the 19000 block of FM 974 in Brazos County, Texas on February 25, 2026. Her truck was found torched an hour later, about two miles away.
Disappearance
Around 3:00 pm on February 25, 2026, Nicole Winder was last seen in the 19000 block of FM 974 near Mary Payne Lane, just north of Bryan, Texas. She disappeared after leaving a residence where she is employed.
One hour later, her white 2025 Chevy truck was found burning two miles away. It is believed the vehicle fire was the result or arson.
Investigators are asking anyone in the area to check their security or game camera footage between 3:00-4:15 pm on February 25, 2026.
Authorities believe Nikki may be in danger of death or serious bodily injury, and her whereabouts are currently unknown.
Investigation
Authorities have obtained two images from the area near FM 974 and Jack Creek Road, just north of Highway 21, on the afternoon Nikki disappeared. One shows a UTV; the identity of the driver and/or owner is unknown. The other image shows Nikki’s white truck with black rims.
The UTV is a green 2014 Polaris Ranger XP 900, and the last four digits of the VIN are 7827. It was last seen traveling on FM 974 around 3:20 pm on February 25, 2026.
Investigators are attempting to locate the vehicle, which is believed to have been involved in events surrounding Nikki’s disappearance.
Searches have been conducted with the help of helicopters, drones and K9 units, but no further clues as to her whereabouts have been found.
On April 15, 2026, Nikki’s brother, Dustin Winder, was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant for prostitution. “This warrant is based on evidence developed during the course of the investigation but relates to a separate criminal offense and is not connected to Ms. Winder’s disappearance. The search warrants executed today were conducted at properties connected to Mr. Winder,” the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
On May 27, 2026, the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office announced that lab testing confirmed blood found on the property where Nikki was last seen is a match for the missing woman.
The blood was found on a driveway along FM 974, in a wooded area shielded from the line of sight of the residence on the property.

Nicole has blonde hair, green eyes, stands 5’7 tall, and weighs 130 pounds.
