The body of Rebecca Dorr was located in a wooded area this morning, nearly two months after she was reported missing.
The 56 year old was last seen leaving her Maine Street residence on the afternoon of January 25, 2026. She had previously been reported missing in August, and was found three days later in a wooded area.
Initial search efforts were hindered by severe weather, but in recent weeks searches had resumed in wooded areas and walking trails around Brunswick.
At this time authorities don’t consider her death suspicious, though the investigation into her death remains active.
The Disappearance of Rebecca Dorr
Rebecca Dorr was last heard from around noon on January 25, 2026. She left her residence in the 200 block of Maine Street that afternoon and never returned.
She was last seen on foot around 3:30 pm, wearing a white and green striped knit hat, grey scarf, blue jacket, dark colored mittens, grey sweatpants, and dark colored boots.
Investigators say Rebecca suffers from mental health issues. She was previously reported missing in August, and was found three days later in a wooded area.
Investigation
Searches for Rebecca have been conducted in the wooded areas of the Town Common and Crystal Springs Farm trails, but no further clues as to her whereabouts have been found.
