On Monday November 17, 2025, Isaac Hunt’s younger brother was charged with second degree murder after remains believed to be Isaac’s were found on their father’s property.
27 year old Isaac was last seen at his father’s home in Saint Michael, North Dakota on March 8, 2024.
Over the weekend his family organized a search for Isaac, at which point they found a human skull believed to belong to him. The next day additional remains were found, along with clothing and shoes that match the description of what Isaac was last seen wearing.
Law enforcement believes Isaac and his brother got into a fight that involved a knife at their father’s home in early March 2024. Blood stains were found on a TV stand, subfloor, and duct work, which ended up being a match to both Isaac and his brother D’Angelo Hunt.
One witness told law enforcement they saw videos of D’Angelo pacing back and forth with a knife, while Isaac told him to relax around the time of his disappearance.
D’Angelo also told law enforcement conflicting statements about messages on his phone and when he last saw his brother. A wound on his hand was observed during his questioning, and he later admitted Isaac had stabbed him during a fight.
D’Angelo could face life in prison if convicted. His first court appearance is scheduled for November 18th at 3:30 pm. He is currently being held in Grand Forks County Jail.
D’Angelo was also the boyfriend of missing woman Jemini Posey, whose been missing since January 2024.
