Case Information
30-year-old Miranda Conner was last seen in Federal Heights, Colorado on February 3, 2023. She disappeared after being driven to an apartment complex where she was supposed to meet someone.
Background
Miranda Conner is originally from Illinois. She is a mother of two children, ages 11 and 9.
At the time of her disappearance, Miranda was living with a roommate and her two children in the Green Valley Ranch neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. She is a single parent and stay-at-home mother.
Her roommate, April Elsner, says Miranda is not the type of person to leave and not return.
Disappearance

On February 2, 2023, Miranda Conner spoke with her mother on the phone and asked for help to pay rent. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary at the time and her mother sent her $300. This is the last contact Miranda ever had with her mother.
On February 3, 2023, Conner was picked up by an Uber at her home in Green Valley Ranch and was driven to a location in Federal Heights, Colorado where she was supposed to meet someone. She didn’t have a car at the time.
Miranda was last seen in the early morning hours near an apartment complex off the northwest corner of West 85th Avenue and North Pecos Street in Federal Heights, Colorado.
Miranda Conner never returned home and hasn’t been heard from since. Her roommate filed a missing person’s report with the Denver Police Department when she didn’t return.
Investigation

Authorities initially said Conner was last seen around 1:00 am on February 3 in her Green Valley Ranch neighborhood of Denver, but now say her last known location was in the area of West 85th Avenue and North Pecos Street in Federal Heights.
At 4:04 am on February 4, 2023, Conner’s cell phone last pinged in a neighborhood close to 85th Avenue near Thornton. It was then found abandoned by a civilian near the apartment complex where she was last seen in Federal Heights. The civilian gave the phone to Miranda’s roommate who then turned it over to police for analysis.
Authorities conducted a search around the apartment complex where Miranda was last seen, and her scent was picked up by bloodhounds from a piece of her clothing.
One of the dogs found a discarded piece of purple clothing that Miranda is believed to have been wearing at the time she disappeared. Another dog traced her scent to a particular unit in the complex and to a nearby dumpster.
Bloodhounds also traced her scent north to a frozen lake adjacent to the apartment complex, with one of the dogs heading further north to another apartment complex before circling back.
Authorities are handling Miranda Conner’s case as a homicide based on the concerning nature of her disappearance and the amount of time she’s been missing.
“I know that she just didn’t leave her kids. You know, I know that something has happened to her and someone knows something or they’re not giving all the information,” her mother says.
Miranda’s children are currently in her mother’s care in Arizona.
Whereabouts
Foul play is suspected in Miranda Conner’s disappearance. A $2,000 reward is being offered by Metro Denver Crime Stoppers for information leading to Miranda’s discovery.
The circumstances of Miranda’s disappearance remain unclear and her case is currently classified as endangered missing. Her case remains unsolved.

I have a hard time having sympathy for people who put themselves in harms way. Users to someone’s place?
Does anyone know who the someone was?
Even as a teenager I would never have gone anywhere without letting someone know where, who and why.
I do feel sorry for her family and children.
Did she use uber where ever she went , was it the normal driver that she always used , was the driver ever questioned , or others that she used ? .
Where was her car at the time ?.
Where were the children at the time , or before her disappearance ? .
Was the person known to the room – mate , that gave her the phone ? .
Does she anybody else in the other complex ? .
