Disappearance
At approximately 11:00 pm on May 26, 2022, Michelle Dunlap-Smith was last seen leaving the Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange, Georgia.
Michelle hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
Her family reported her missing to the LaGrange Police Department the following day, after learning that she had walked away from the medical center.
Investigation
According to her family, Michelle was receiving medical attention for alcohol withdrawals at the Wellstar Georgia Medical Center at the time of her disappearance.
Security cameras spotted Michelle walking toward the rear of the hospital, in a direction opposite of her home, at 11:00 pm on May 26, 2022. This is the last confirmed sighting of her.
Detective Amy Sweatt, who is leading the investigation with the LaGrange Police Department, is urging the public to come forward with any information they may have about Michelle’s whereabouts.
Sweatt says they have received several tips regarding Michelle’s disappearance, but so far they have led nowhere.
Michelle’s sister believes that she was taken by someone, as she wouldn’t just leave on her own.
Michelle lives near the medical center, so the possibility of her walking home was possible, however the last known sighting of her shows her walking in the opposite direction.
Whereabouts
The location of Michelle Dunlap-Smith, as well as the circumstances surrounding her disappearance, remains unknown. Her case remains unsolved.

Black female with black hair and brown eyes. Michelle stands 5’4 tall and weighs approximately 220 pounds.

Michelle was last seen wearing a sky blue shirt, tie-dye shorts and sky blue shoes.
