Case Information
33 year old Marqualus Davis was last seen in Clarksville, Tennessee on June 15, 2018. He was last seen at the Marathon gas station, located at the intersection of Preachers Mill Road and 101st Airborne Division Parkway.
Background
Marqualus Davis was born on February 1, 1985. He earned the nickname “Little Michael Jordan” growing up, and is described as a kindhearted person.
At the time of his disappearance, Davis lived in Clarksville and worked in construction. He left behind six young children.
His family says it’s uncharacteristic of him to go missing without warning. His mother, Kim Davis, says he would never abandon his six kids.
Disappearance
On June 15, 2018, Marqualus Davis was last seen at the (now closed) Marathon gas station located at 1230 Preachers Mill Road in Clarksville, Tennessee.
While at the gas station, Davis got into a physical altercation with another individual. No further details about this altercation have ever been made public.
Surveillance footage from the gas station shows Davis arriving in a red and white truck, going inside to use the restroom, then walking back out and heading to the rear of the building off camera.
This is the last confirmed sighting of him, though he did continue to send text messages after leaving the gas station. A private investigator on the case says she hasn’t been able to make contact with anyone who spoke to him that evening.
His family knew something was wrong when they hadn’t heard from him by Father’s Day, which fell on June 17.
Investigation
Investigators say it’s possible that foul play was involved, and that someone in the area likely has information that could help lead them to his location.
“Something tragic did happen, and as for the detectives, they didn’t really go into much details, of course,” Davis’s mother Kim told WKRN. “Crime shows have just become a part of my life, just trying to see if there’s anything that I could possibly add to the case.”
She is asking anyone with information to please come forward. “Just find it in your heart to share that information if it’s something that could possibly bring us closure because even if it’s something that’s small or minor, it could be the very thing that they need to actually close this case.”
Appearance
Black male born on February 1, 1985. Marqualus has black hair, brown eyes, stands 5’7, and weighs 150 pounds. He has tattoos on his forearm.
