Updated April 15, 2025; Posted April 15, 2025

Jorden Nebling MIssing Person

23 year old Tyler Wilkins, who is currently serving a 45 year sentence for the murder of Clarissa Winchester in 2022, has confessed to fatally stabbing 19 year old Jorden Nebling back in 2020.

Nebling was last seen in Travelers Rest, South Carolina on October 10, 2020. She disappeared after she was picked up by her ex-boyfriend when her car broke down near Old White Horse Road.

Family members told FOX Carolina that Wilkins was the ex-boyfriend she was with on the day she disappeared.

Wilkins will be formally arraigned on charges of murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime at a later date. The investigation into her case is ongoing, though as of this date Nebling’s body has not been found.

The Disappearance of Jorden Nebling

Jorden Shyann Nebling was born on March 8, 2001 to mother Heidi Nebling. She grew up in foster care, but was later adopted along with her older sister by stepmother Mary Tucker.

Jorden had a history of drug abuse as a teenager, but was reportedly not using at the time of her disappearance. She had gotten a new job and was on her way to becoming a responsible adult.

She was known to frequent the Travelers Rest and Marietta areas in South Carolina.

Disappearance

On October 9, 2020, Jorden Nebling and a male friend drove a borrowed car from Travelers Rest to see friends in Cowpens, South Carolina. At some point, her friend left with another friend while Jorden stayed behind.

On October 10, 2020, Jorden decided to drive back alone to Travelers Rest, but her borrowed car unexpectedly broke down in front of a house on Old White Horse Road in Travelers Rest, South Carolina.

Around 1:30 pm, Jorden was last seen by the house’s resident when she got into the car of a man who came to pick her up. Jorden Nebling never returned home and hasn’t been heard from since.

On November 8, 2020, her stepmother filed a missing person’s report with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office after not being able to get in contact with her.

Investigation

Authorities determined that Jorden had contacted her ex-boyfriend, Tyler Wilkens who lived in Travelers Rest, to come pick her up. He claimed that he drove Jorden to his place, but that she walked away on her own after they got into an argument.

Jorden and Wilens had dated for two years and briefly lived together when she was seventeen. Tyler Wilkens has not been charged with any crimes in connection to Jorden’s disappearance.

South Carolina Man Charged with Murder of Girlfriend and Baby

On November 10, 2022, Jorden’s ex-boyfriend Tyler Wilkens was arrested and charged with kidnapping, murder, and child neglect in connection with the death of his girlfriend, Clarrissa Michelle Winchester, and their newborn son.

Wilkens is accused of confining Winchester inside a relative’s home and assaulting her, which caused blunt force trauma to her head and neck. During trial he was sentenced to 45 years.
