Joshua is a registered land surveyor. In 2011 he moved back to Northfield where he grew up. He previously lived in Colorado where he started snowboarding and mountain biking.
Josh suffers from schizophrenia which can cause delusions and paranoia. The medication he took for the disorder caused harsh side effects, according to loved ones.
Disappearance
On September 20, 2012, Joshua Bohlen was last seen near his pickup truck about a mile north of Dennison in Northfield, Minnesota.
Josh was last seen on foot, and was suffering from paranoia when he disappeared. He would have likely hidden from any people or vehicles.
His vehicle was found abandoned on Goodhue Avenue, in a rural area of Northfield.
Investigation
Multiple searches were conducted in the area where Bohlen’s vehicle was located, but no further clues as to his whereabouts have been found.
“There was an extensive search of a mile radius from the intersection of 110th Street East and Goodhue Avenue near Dennison, which is the last place he was seen,” Northfield Deputy Chief Chuck Walerius said.
Appearance
White male with blonde hair and green eyes. Joshua stands 5’6 tall and weighs 150-180 pounds. He has a scar on his right arm and a scar on his upper left arm. Josh has a tattoo of a dragon covering his left arm and shoulder.
Clothing & Accessories:
Joshua was possibly last seen wearing a long sleeved shirt, jeans, and hiking or work boots.
