I think that they should look more into the policeman that took her call. He was the last one with her before she disappeared.People have a tendency to trust the law but they sometimes are more evil than the people they arrest. I think he downplayed the urgency of the call and handled the ambulance so they wouldn’t take any of it serious. He was there. I am a 5 foot tall female that weighs 110 pounds like Paige. It’s not that hard to imagine a cop walking up and seeing you there alone in a park and doing whatever he wants to you. You can’t stop him he is too strong for people like us. She should never have put herself in such a vulnerable position. He took advantage of the situation. My motto is fear everyone and trust no one. At the end of the day he is a man first and a cop second. All men have the ability to do this some just have an easier time of getting to that place where they decide to start.
Brenda, that’s a disgusting comment and you ought to be ashamed of yourself. How would you feel if your husband was an officer and someone accused him of foul play, when he has taken an oath to protect?
Jen,
Do not be too angry with Brenda regarding her post, you do not know what was going through her mind as she wrote her words, do you? The truth about crime is that law enforcement will always look at the last people that saw or spoke to the victim, it is a fact! Years ago when I was barely out of my teens, I had an bad “experience” fending off an officer of the law, it does happen Jen, even in your perfect world!
