Case Information
26 year old Jennifer Wilkerson was last seen on July 13, 2004 in Lubbock, Texas. She disappeared after leaving her boyfriend’s residence to drive back home before heading to work.
Background
Jennifer Lynn Wilkerson was born on December 9, 1977 to parents Vikki and Jack Wilkerson. A Hobbs, New Mexico native, Jennifer moved to Lubbock to attend South Plains College with plans of becoming a paralegal.
At the time of her disappearance, Jennifer was living in a rental trailer with another couple and worked at Nothin’ Butt Smokes.
Disappearance
Jennifer Wilkerson was last seen on the morning of July 13, 2004, at her boyfriend’s house in the 2400 block of 118th Street in Lubbock, Texas.
She told him she was gonna drive home and take a shower before starting her work shift later that day.
Jennifer apparently made it home, but never arrived at work. She hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
When Jennifer didn’t report for work her friends and family immediately knew something was wrong. Her father reported her missing to the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office on the evening of July 14, 2004.
Investigation
After finding out Jennifer hadn’t reported to work, her family went to her residence. They found her car, a 1999 black Honda Civic coupe, parked outside. The house was locked, with two sets of house and car keys hanging on a hook just inside the door.
All of her money and personal belongings were found inside, with the exception of a tan shoulder strap purse.
Jennifer never called into work on the day of her disappearance, and she never picked up her last paycheck.
Jennifer’s roommates at the time told authorities they hadn’t seen or heard from her, and thought she had been with her boyfriend.
After multiple interviews, Jennifer’s boyfriend (who also passed two polygraph tests according to Jennifer’s family) and roommates were cleared of suspicion in her disappearance.
Authorities state they were looking for a suspicious vehicle they believe may be involved in her disappearance, a small black truck that is low to the ground, with smooth hubcaps on the tires and decals in the back window. However, the vehicle and it’s driver have never been identified.
Over the years many leads have been followed up on, including a man who admitted to disposing of Jennifer’s body in Mound Lake, however no clues as to her whereabouts were ever found.
Jennifer’s mother runs the Jennifer Wilkerson (Missing) facebook page to help keep her daughter’s case in the spotlight.

The location of Jennifer Wilkerson, as well as the circumstances surrounding her disappearance, remains unknown.
Authorities believe she is missing under suspicious circumstances, and are investigating her case as a possible abduction. Her case is currently classified as endangered missing and remains unsolved.
