Background
Jennifer Cahill-Shadle was born on January 9, 1956. She is a mother of three children.
For several years, Jennifer lived with her husband, Sean Shadle, and their three children in the Saybrook area of Ferguson Township, Pennsylvania.
In November 2013, Jennifer moved in with her mother and stepfather in Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania, after her husband filed for divorce after 27 years of marriage. In the meantime, she got a job in an insurance agency.
In April 2014, Jennifer decided to return to the State College area to be closer to her three children. She didn’t have a permanent address and was staying with friends and at various hotels, including The Quality Inn and The Rodeway Inn.
At the time of her disappearance, Jennifer was in the process of a divorce, with her husband being ordered to pay $5,000 a month to her as spousal support.
Disappearance
On May 15, 2014, Jennifer Cahill Shadle was last seen in State College, Pennsylvania. Her last contact with family was a phone call to one of her daughters that afternoon to arrange a time to pick up some mail.
At 4:51 pm, surveillance footage captured Jennifer leaving a Walmart store by herself on north Atherton Street. She was later seen walking across the parking lot toward a Dollar Tree store.
Around 5:00 pm, Jennifer went to an appointment at Simple Tan, a tanning salon on North Atherton street located in the same Walmart Shopping Plaza.
Between 7:00 and 8:00 pm, Jennifer came back soaking wet to Simple Tan, asking if anyone had found her lost wallet, but the owner and employees had not seen it.
Between 10:00 and 11:00 pm, Jennifer was reportedly last seen by employees at Don Patron Mexican Grill on North Atherton Street.
Jennifer Cahill-Shadle never showed up to meet her husband and daughter and hasn’t been heard from since.
On May 20, 2014, her mother filed a missing persons report with the Ferguson Township Police when she couldn’t contact Jennifer.
Investigation
Jennifer disappeared without a car, cell phone, or wallet. Her bank accounts and credit cards have had no activity since she disappeared.
Jennifer did not have access to a vehicle and usually got around by walking or taking a taxi. She occasionally used the Mega Bus for trips outside of the area.
According to her family, Jennifer had struggled with alcohol in the past. but she had joined Alcoholics Anonymous and did counseling therapy every week for a year before her disappearance.
Jennifer’s husband, Sean Shadle, was initially considered a person of interest in her disappearance. He took a lie detector test, but the results were inconclusive results. Authorities searched his property but found no signs of Jennifer.
Whereabouts
Police found no evidence for foul play in Jennifer Shadle’s disappearance. The circumstances of Jennifer Shadle’s disappearance remain unclear and her case is currently classified as missing. Her case remains unsolved.

Physical Description:
White female born on January 9, 1956. Jennifer has brown hair, blue eyes, stands 5’4 tall and weighs 105 – 115 pounds.
Distinctive Physical Features:
Her ears are pierced and she has a surgical scar on her stomach.
Clothing and accessories:
Jennifer was last seen wearing a light-colored top, capri pants, and dark shoes. She was carrying a black shoulder/cross body bag.

Were their children at university ( college ) , what were they studying for , were they self – supporting / married ? .
What time did it start raining , did she use uber or taxi ? .
What was the reason that she was drinking , that she had to go to alcoholic ‘ s anonymous ( A . A . ) , were any of her other friend ‘ s at A . A . , how far was she into the program , did she associate with any of the other ‘ s after the sessions ? .
Did any body else leave after she went missing , and at what stage were they in turn ? .
Why did she not stay with her mother , and change her abode all the time ? .
What was the difference in age between herself and her husband , what was the reason for them and her daughter meeting up , how far was she at the time that she was suppose meet them , and where ( lunch , tea or dinner ) ? .
What does her husband do for a living ( stressful ) ? .
Do her children visit their Grandparents (maternal ) ? .
She was 58 not 48 when she disappeared 1956 year of birth.
Either year of birth is wrong or age listed is wrong.
She would be 6 years younger than me and I’m 73.
Pretty obvious that the husband is responsible.
I’m a friend of the family and kind of am outraged by people just assuming it’s the husband just because they were getting a divorce. Sean is an awesome man, father, and friend to so many. They might not have worked out, but that doesn’t mean it’s always the husbands fault. Check a bit deeper before you make accusations. Thanks.
