Disappearance
At approximately 1:00 am on March 9, 2010, Jennifer Andersen was last seen at her apartment near 120th and Blondo Streets in Omaha, Nebraska.
Her parents were staying with her at the time, and she left them a note saying she was going out for a drive. She hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
Jennifer has struggled with depression and was emotionally distressed at the time of her disappearance. She requires medication, which she does not have with her. Her cell phone was also left behind.
She worked as a registered nurse at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, and loved ones say it’s uncharacteristic of her to leave without warning.
Investigation
There has been no activity on Jennifer’s credit cards or bank accounts since she went missing.
On March 15, 2010, Jennifer’s vehicle, a maroon 2001 Chevrolet Lumina with plate number RJK303, was found locked and abandoned near Rick’s Boatyard Cafe in Omaha. Her purse was inside, but her keys were missing.
Her car was found near the Missouri River, prompting several searches in the area, but no further clues as to her whereabouts have been found.
Appearance
White female with blonde hair and blue eyes. Jennifer stands 5’7 tall and weighs 110-115 pounds. She had shoulder length hair at the time of her disappearance. Her ears are pierced.
She has scars on the outside of her left ankle, on her right wrist, above her left eye, and one close to her eyebrow.
Jennifer has several tattoos: a shamrock on her buttocks, a flower on her ankle, and a salamander on her toe.
Clothing & Accessories:
Jennifer was last seen wearing a charcoal grey jacket with a blue front, dark navy blue jean leggings, a gray sweater, and brown shoes.
