Disappearance
Jay Ketter was last seen in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on February 2, 2025. He was last seen in the area of East Warrington Avenue and Arlington Avenue in Allentown, an area he’s known to frequent.
His family reported him missing after he failed to stay in contact his elderly mother, who is suffering from an aggressive form of cancer.
They say he would never go more than a day without seeing her, so they knew immediately something was wrong.
Investigation
A new detective took over the case in May, and some new “valuable information” was learned, however authorities will not disclose specific details in an ongoing investigation.
Investigators believe Jay is likely deceased, and that foul play was involved. They are asking the public to come forward with any information.
“How could somebody leave a human being out here to rot away? When his poor family is out here suffering and hurting every day,” Donna Graziano, Ketter’s sister, told Channel 11.
Since Jay’s disappearance, his family has conducted their own searches in the neighborhood, looking through abandoned houses and under bridges, but have turned up no further clues as to his whereabouts.

Ketter is described as 6 feet tall, 200 pounds, with hazel eyes and a brown/gray beard.
