Name: Jacob Angeles
Age: 22 years old
Last Seen: August 16, 2025
Location: Holly, Michigan
Status: Found deceased on August 21, 2025

Case Information

22 year old Jacob Angeles was last seen in Holly, Michigan on August 16, 2025. He was last seen at the Michigan Renaissance Festival around 11:00 am.

Disappearance

On August 16, 2025, Jacob Angeles attended the Renaissance Festival in Holly, Michigan. He was last seen at the Festival around 11:00 am. Jacob never returned home, and hasn’t been heard from since.

Jacob lives in Rockford, and was scheduled to work at 3:00 am, but was a no call no show. This is unusual behavior for him.

He drives a 2006 silver Jeep Commander with plate number ELH8954. Jacob drove to the Festival alone, and his phone has since been turned off.

His loved ones are concerned for his well being, as it is out of character for him to go missing like this. They say he is a man of routine, and that there have been no noticeable change in his life recently.

Investigation

Jacob’s family has been given conflicting reports about when his vehicle was last seen.

One report states his Jeep was last pinged by FLOCK at 4:20 pm on August 16, heading North at the I-75/675 interchange in Saginaw (it’s unclear why he would traveled so far north if he was heading home to Rockford).

However the third party company who monitors the parking lot at the Festival says his plate was pinged leaving their lot at 12:04 am on August 18, 2025.

On August 20, 2025, the Rockford Police Department clarified that the FLOCK reading of Jacob’s Jeep in Saginaw was accurate, and that the festival plate reading was an error.

At 3:36 pm on August 16, Jacob’s car was captured by FLOCK at Clio Road and Coldwater Road North.

At 4:16 pm his vehicle was captured at the 1-675 ramp to North 1-75 towards Saginaw. This is the last confirmed sighting of his vehicle.

Jacob’s car was last hit on a FLOCK camera at the I-675 ramp to N I-75 towards Saginaw at 4:16pm on 08/16/25. Below is a picture of the vehicle and plate.

To clear up time stamps the plate reader at the festival had a system error and showed every car leaving at the 12:01am time frame. Medical personnel do not have any record of speaking with or having contact with Jacob.

A public facebook page has been created by Jacob’s family to help coordinate searches.

Remains of Jacob Angles Found in Northern Michigan

Around 11:30 pm on August 21, 2025, the remains of Jacob Angeles were found in Crawford County, Michigan.

His body was found by deputies with the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office in a wooded area. Authorities were notified after a resident called in that a Jeep matching the description of Angeles’ vehicle was seen in a remote area.

Foul play does not appear to be involved at this time, though the investigation remains ongoing.

An autopsy has been planned to determine the cause and manner of death.
