On May 15, 2026, the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office arrested 43 year old Aaron Nelson in connection with the disappearance and homicide of his wife, Alexis Nelson.
42 year old Alexis Nelson was last known to be in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin in May 2025. She hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
Aaron Nelson has been charged with first-degree intentional homicide and hiding a corpse. His bail has been set at $1 million and he is currently being held in Dodge County Jail.
A review hearing is set for May 27, with the preliminary hearing scheduled the day after.
