Heather has four children and is a member of the Grand Ronde Indian Tribe.
According to family, Heather was a victim of domestic violence. She has a history of drug abuse, and had recently checked herself out of a rehab program.

Disappearance
On August 18, 2012, Heather Cameron was last seen in Shasta County, California. She was last seen with her ex boyfriend, Daniel Lusby, heading to Keswick Dam, a remote area 20 miles outside of Redding, California (near the Sacramento River and Shasta Dam).
Around 2:50 pm Heather made three 911 calls from the area of Keswick Dam using Lusby’s phone, saying she had been drugged with heroin and needed help.
The 911 operator could hear a male voice in the background, but due to the poor phone reception in the area the call dropped multiple times.
Heather Cameron hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
On September 4, 2012, Heather’s estranged husband reported her missing to the Redding Police Department, which then referred her case to Shasta County.
Investigation
Heather may be driving a gray four door 2003 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck with California plate number 8Z75740.
Authorities conducted an extensive search of the area Heather made the 911 calls from, but turned up no clues as to her whereabouts.
Lusby was interviewed by police about Heather’s disappearance on three separate occasion, telling authorities she walked off with his phone on the day she went missing. The phone has never been recovered.
Lusby is considered a person of interest in her disappearance, but has never been charged. Police say they are still trying to corroborate information.

You don’t need a day trip as it’s 10 min to downtown. I lived there. . The dam is not a scenic attraction but was a poor area full of trailers and small hills. The Carr fire burned the area and if she was there will be hard to find unless buried or in the water.
So the police think she’s still alive. Small town police are usually incompetent or lazy.
This girl is dead and her boyfriend most likely killed her.
