The family of 70 year old Marie Louissaint is still searching for answers, nearly a month after she went missing from Brockton, Massachusetts.
“We can’t sleep, your phone goes off, you wonder what happened, especially if it’s from Brockton police or detectives, it’s been very hard on the entire family,” Marie’s son-in-law, Philippe St-Hubert told Boston 25 News.
At the time of her disappearance, Marie was living at Caffrey Apartments on Crescent Street in Brockton. Her personal care assistant, who typically visited her twice a day, was the first one to notice her missing.
On July 5, 2025, Marie Louissaint was last seen near her residence at Caffrey Towers, 755 Crescent Street in Brockton, Massachusetts. She hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
Marie only speaks Haitian Creole, and family members report she has wandered off before, but that she was never gone for more than a few hours.
Both her family and police have checked with US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, but there have been no reports of anyone seeing her.
Authorities and K9 units have searched through the wooded area surrounding Louissant’s residence, however no clues as to her whereabouts have been found.
