Disappearance
On the evening of August 21, 2025, Doris Strunk was last seen leaving the residential care facility she was staying at.
According to police, she was at the facility and armed with a machete. She left the facility after staff confiscated the weapon and hasn’t been heard from since.
An employee at the facility reported her missing to the Portland Police Bureau at 5:20 am on August 22, 2025.
Investigation
Doria is known to frequent the area of Northeast Halsey Street and Northeast 122nd Avenue, as well as Northeast Halsey and Northeast 114th Avenue.
Loved ones and authorities are worried because Doris is is suffering from numerous illnesses and hadn’t been taking her medication for a week.

At 7:30 pm on September 15, 2025, missing endangered woman Doris Strunk was located and transported to an area hospital for evaluation. No further details have been released.
Appearance
Doris has long gray hair, brown eyes, stands 5’3 tall, and weighs approximately 100 pounds.

Doris was last seen wearing a black windbreaker jacket with pink trim.
