I truly believe no one goes missing without someone knowing or seeing something. The fact that she seems to pop up when he goes for a walk and everything something about that does not sound right. Also she reports him missing there are skeletons in that closet that have yet to be told the cops need to push harder on her she might not have did something to him but got someone to do it Oakland California is not a good place this case sounds like if you put the video together if you push harder on her and maybe trace why his phone pinged in Oakland your case will be solved look over the videos again maybe it’s something as tiny that u didn’t see and what time did she see him downtown because we know at 1 pm all video of him he is not seen no more.
I feel like the mayor’s comments on Disappeared are tone deaf based on the experience of the family as far as racism. The cop also seems like following up with the story about the river check was too much trouble. Did he talk to the guy who told the story?
I totally agree with you. I just watched this Episode and the lack of interest baffles me. They have not done enough!!!
It breaks my heart for his mom & family. Brought me to tears!! Praying for them finding him 🙏🙏🙏
His phone was broken before arriving/ going to Mt. Shasta.
My biggest questions-
1. HOW did he and the gf get there? If she drove did his family or anyone look in her car, smell around her trunk, inspect it??
2. A Mt. Shasta mailman reported speaking with Devohnte who asked for directions to a “hotel” on Alma St. The mailman said there are only apartments and gave Devohnte directions but saw him looking lost later on around Alma St. Was the couple supposed to meet anyone in or near Mt. Shasta, possibly for a deal??? No offense but must consider because I’ve read that the area made little sense for a trip in May and during COVID. National parks were closed (idk, it’s what I read), the winter attractions(possibly when tourism is highest there?) were closed, and the B&B was more like a roadside inn, not worth travelling 4 hours. There’s a lot of nice places to get away from San Fransisco (I’d imagine)… why there??? The gf was also loopy and his family said he was struggling after being the victim of a mistaken identity shooting. His family felt the gf kept booze and possibly drugs available.
3. Number 2 leads me to this, even though they had no legal grounds that gf’s cell phone could be a critical missing piece. Devohnte’s phone was broken, if any deal or communication took place it’d go through the gf. Or, maybe there’s just something else incriminating, like pings- where did her cell ping from??
4. Are there any known criminals in the area that live on Alma St. that may fit a profile of being someone to look into (remember he asked the mailman for directions to Alma St)?
5. Has anyone specifically questioned residents on Alma St, specifically at that apartment complex? Are there any personal cameras (ring) specifically in that area that could have or can still be checked??
Time really is of the essence and it’s so unfortunate we’re now past 3 years.
Methinks, it was a drug deal gone bad. Just like the guy said, DM was robbed of his money and killed, then put into the river.
DM was 28 years old, his GF – 48. What were they doing for a living? Could it be that they were dealing? Not trying to throw shade on the missing person, but that’s just the first thing that comes to my mind. May 2020 California was under lock down, all public places (including national parks) were closed. What were they doing in that little town? His phone was broken, so all communications were conducted via his GF’s phone. Has that been looked into, or was there not enough evidence for a warrant? Did the police look into her social connections? She should know who DM was visiting that day, but if she rats them out, she will find herself at the bottom of a river, too.
My take on this is that the white supremist activity associated with that area of California (Redding, Cottonwood Militia) have something to do with this. I listened to the Mayor of Mt Shasta engage in typical denial of racism and the power it has over some people to do evil. By denying this real history of racism is very dangerous in attempts to find the truth. By denying a reality, she denies a very likely contributor to DaVohnte’s disappearance. Denial is a powerful defender of evil. If I am ever, as a white person, to visit Mt Shasta, I will be keeping my eyes and ears open for the evil of racism in that town.. And I will report what I see and hear. STOP the DENIAL!!! May he be found and his family have peace. May Mt. Shasta grow up and make amends for the past. P.S. Cottonwood is a very creepy place and close to Mt. Shasta. Redding not so great either.
