Disappearance
On May 19, 2022, Christopher Hoye was last seen by his wife at their residence in Dixon, Missouri when she went outside to milk their goats in the morning.
While outside, Alysha heard the distant rumbling of a truck starting up but wasn’t close enough to see anything. Upon her return, Hoye was nowhere to be seen. His truck was gone and the gate was left open.
Christopher Hoye never returned home and hasn’t been heard from since.
Investigation
Hoye left his phone, computer, and wallet behind at home.
Chris’ wife initially thought he went off to run an errand, but when he hadn’t returned after a couple hours she went out to look for him and found his truck not far from their home.
She found his truck, with the keys left inside, near the Veterans Bridge off Highway 28 beside the Gasconade River in Pulaski County.
Authorities conducted a search of the area where his truck was located, but found no additional clues as to his whereabouts.
Whereabouts
Police found no evidence for foul play in Christopher Hoye’s disappearance. The circumstances of Christopher’s disappearance remain unclear and his case is currently classified as missing. His case remains unsolved.

Physical Description:
White male born on March 16, 1989. Christopher has brown hair, hazel eyes, stands 5’6 – 5’7 tall, and weighs 175 pounds. He has a thick, dark brown full beard and mustache.
Distinctive Physical Features:
Christopher has scars above his left eyebrow, on his right knee, on both forearms, and on his hands and knuckles. He wears wire frame prescription glasses with thick lenses and a black wedding ring.
Clothing and accessories:
Christopher was last seen wearing a light colored t-shirt, dark (blue, gray, or black) gym shorts, white calf length socks, black sneakers, and a black ball cap.

The period before his disappearance , what could had led or be the cause of his disappearance? .
Did he have visitation rights to his children ? .
Was there anything in the back of his pick – up that was out of the ordinary ? .
How old are his children ? .
Living on a farm , why would he leave the gate open ? .
What would he look like with out a beard ? .
Did they have financial difficulties ? .
Did the wife go in her car in order to find him , or have some sort of idea were he could have gone nearby ? .
Did he have a regular daily routine ? .
Was it organized ? .
Beyond the gate that was left open , was there any sign of a fresh set of tracks , or were the pick – up was found ? .
Was the road busy at this time ? .
Does the road to the farm house only serve theirs or others ? .
Where the pick – up was found was it in full view or in an isolated area , was there any indication to suggest that he had run out of gas ? .
The way that the pick – up was facing , was it the normal way he goes anywhere ? .
The time delay that it took the wife to go looking for him , how far could he have gone by any means of transport ? .
A lot of red flags. Did he owe someone money? Did he leave to protect his family? No emails?
Something was going on wirh him. He looked despondent in some of the pics. He told his wife he didn’t want to homestead anymore. Sightings don’t mean much with no follow up. People see what they want to see. Prayers for him and his family.
If he was spotted turning into the gas station, why didnt anyone go back to the gas station and request video surveillance.
He is a missing person so cops would have been able to obtain this.
