Case Information

24 year old Christina Kleckner was last seen in Cleveland, Ohio on October 1, 2011. She disappeared following an argument with her parents and hasn’t been seen or heard from since.

Background

Christina Kleckner was born on May 27, 1987. She was living with her parents in the 3600 block of west 48th Street in Cleveland, Ohio at the time of her disappearance.

Christina is mentally disabled and suffers from bipolar disorder. She requires several medications and may become violent or suicidal without them. She was in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction when she went missing.

Disappearance

Christina Kleckner was last seen at home by her parents on October 1, 2011. She disappeared following an argument with her parents regarding trick or treating.

When her father went into her room to check on her the following day he found her pajamas, but Christina was gone. He then called the Cleveland Police Department to report her missing.

Authorities checked with her neighbors, as well as local hospitals and shelters, but found no clues as to Christina’s whereabouts.

Christina’s father says she may also go by the names Christine Preston, Tina Kleckner, Tink Kleckner, or Crystal Kleckner.

Police say she frequents the areas of West 73rd Street and Lorain Avenue, and Pearl Road and Archwood Avenue.

Following a tip received in 2017, authorities searched an area of the Edgewater neighborhood in relation to Christina’s case. The 1400 block of West 112th Street was searched with the help of K9 units, but the search came up empty.

Are both her parent ‘s her biological mother and father ? .
If she frequented the other street ‘ s as mentioned for what reason , how far from home ? .
Given the above what / why was the issue of trick and treating such an issue , surely the immediate neighbor ‘ s would understand the circumstances , if a parent ( s ) accompanied her , given that she apparently enjoyed doing that , or are the parents in denial and keep her out of ” public view “as much as possible ? .
Did she ever have to go to hospital / clinic for therapy treatment ? .
Would a photo of her as a 8 ( eight ) year old alongside a photo of the time that she went missing , and that of an age – enhanced photo now , as that is her mental capabilities , and might have progressed further than that of an eight year old , help ? .
Was the medication container ‘ s , that her medication was stored open or not , in order to take a few with her , to indicate that she intended to return home ? .
