Caitlyn Rose Case was born on January 25, 1989. She is a Louisiana native.
At the time of her disappearance, Case had recently moved to Colorado where her family members lived. She worked as a technical mechanic.
Disappearance
On July 31, 2022, Caitlyn Rose Case took a flight to Houma, Louisiana where she planned to purchase a vehicle.
On August 4, 2022, Case left Houma and started the trip back home to Colorado in her car. She was in constant contact with family members during her travels, and reported having difficulty with her vehicle’s navigation system and sporadic cell service in some areas.
Case later traveled through Texas and stopped at convenience stores in the cities of Mount Pleasant, Gladewater, Lewisville, Gainesville, and Paris.
On August 5, 2022, Case’s last contact with her family was a phone call she made to her father around 5:00 pm. She had gotten lost in the rural areas of Texas, and was last known to be traveling northbound on Highway 271, about 5 miles southwest of Bogata, Texas.

One question. Why would you fly to Louisiana to buy a car.
Car aren’t sold in Colorado?
A little odd and suspicious to me. Sorry for the family.
Was there any form or indication that Caitlyn had given anyone a lift ?
Was her car , when it was found in a drivable state , given that she was a technical mechanic ? .
Was she told when she bought the sedan that the navigational system was not working properly , did anybody go with her to view the sedan that she was buying , did she take immediate delivery of the vehicle ? .
Was the area were the sedan was found extensively searched ? .
Did any member of her family offer to go with her on were she was going to ? .
Did she meet someone on the plane , that she offered a lift to , and lost the way , other than what she knew , and tried to re – set the navigational system , but did not know the co – ordinates to input , due to the fact that she did not know the area ? .
Was the idea always to go and buy the sedan , and go directly back from where she came from , did anybody offer to accompany her for the duration or part of the journey ? .
Was her boss aware of what she planned to do ? .
These are terrible victim and family blaming questions. This is obviously the professional kidnapping of a young woman by a network of powerful individuals. Human trafficking and the murder of women and children remains a national disgrace. To have no clues after a year means either poor police work or collusion with the perpetrators.
