Background
Brianna Hughes was born on October 16, 1984 to mother Paula Gregg. She has three children.
As a child she participated in softball, volleyball, cheerleading. She also competed in gymnastics at the state level, which led to her suffering a broken foot at age 16.
She was prescribed painkillers for the injury, which led to issues with addiction. Over the years her addiction led to multiple criminal charges and jail stays, as well as her falling in with the “wrong crowd” according to her mother.
Disappearance
On December 15, 2016, Brianna Hughes show up at her mother’s house in Upper Burrell Township, Pennsylvania. Her mother, Paula Gregg, gave her some clothes.
Brianna told her mother she was planning on going back to rehab.
As Brianna was getting ready to leave her mother noticed an older model red car waiting in front, possibly a Chevrolet Cavalier. Gregg did not recognize the female driver, whom she describes as a heavy set white woman with curly blonde hair.
Brianna left in the vehicle with the unknown woman and hasn’t been heard from since.
When Brianna failed to call her daughter on her 13th birthday in March 2017, Gregg reported her missing to the Upper Burrell police.
Investigation
In the months that followed her disappearance, Brianna was reportedly seen on Frankstown Road in the Homewood neighborhood of Pittsburgh. It is believed she was living with her youngest child and the child’s father at the time.
In February 2017, Brianna was seen on East Liberty in Homewood. This is the last confirmed sighting of Hughes.
Whereabouts
The location of Brianna Hughes, as well as the circumstances surrounding her disappearance, remains unknown. Her case is classified as missing and remains unsolved.
Appearance
White female born on October 16, 1984. Brianna has brown hair, hazel eyes, stands 5’2 tall, and weighs 100 – 110 pounds.
She has “breathe” tattooed on her middle upper chest. Her hair was in a short bob at the time of her disappearance and she may go by the name Winter.
