She is a single mother, and owned her own concrete company, Alltex Coring and Sawing. At the time of her disappearance she was living in a home she owned in Arlington, Texas, and had a live in boyfriend.
On October 1, 2020, the father of Brenda’s daughter gained access to her former home and moved in.
Disappearance
Brenda Matissen was last seen by an employee of hers at the concrete business she owned, Alltex Coring and Sawing located at 716 Spring Miller Court, in Arlington, Texas on April 8, 2020.
She hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
It is unknown what vehicle she was driving or riding in at the time, or how she left the business.
Investigation
Brenda’s truck, a black and blue 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche, was in the repair shop for transmission issues at the time of her disappearance.
Brenda had a home security system with cameras inside and outside her home, but the hard drives were found pulled out of the wall after she went missing, and a large safe was missing from her home.
Heavy duty equipment, tools, company vehicles, and computer back up hard drives were also stolen from her business. The whereabouts of these items is still unclear.
Her cell phone, purse, and other personal belongings have never been located.

Appearance
Caucasian female born on August 31, 1972. Brenda has red/auburn hair, brown eyes, stands 5’6, and weighs 145 pounds.
She wears eyeglasses and contacts, and her hair has previously been dyed blonde.
Brenda’s ears and navel are pierced, and she has breast implants. She has two moles under the left side of her lip, a scar on her right pinky finger, a large surgical scar on her right ankle, and a surgical scar on her right arm.
It is unknown what Brenda was wearing at the time of her disappearance.
