Background
Braedan Rose grew up in Avery County, North Carolina and was raised by his maternal grandmother. His mother passed away in 2013 and his grandmother died four years later.
Braedan graduated from high school where he played basketball and had good grades. He enrolled at East Tennessee State University with plans to become a lawyer.
In 2018, Braedan stopped college after a semester and began working when his girlfriend got pregnant. The couple broke up in 2021, and shared custody of their daughter in Tennessee.
In October, 2022, Braedan began working as a maintenance cleaner at Clean Star International, a cleaning services company in Jacksonville, Florida.
At the time of his disappearance, Braedan was frequently traveling for work and was renting a house from a family member of his ex-girlfriend in Elizabethton, Tennessee.
Disappearance
On October 6, 2022, Braedan Rose contacted his uncle via text message at 10:22 am, saying “he needed 20 bucks to get home.”
Subsequently, his uncle received another two texts, saying “I’m never going back to Florida again’” and “the same car has been following me.” He had never mentioned a car following him prior to this conversation.
His uncle attempted to call him back but Braedan was working and couldn’t pick up the phone.
The same day, Braedan left Florida after checking out of the motel he was staying at for his job and was believed to be on his way back to see his daughter in Elizabethton, Tennessee.
Braedan Rose never made it to Tennessee and hasn’t been heard from since.
On October 14, 2022, his ex-girlfriend filed a missing person report with the Avery County Sheriffs Department when Braedan Rose failed to come pick up his daughter from school.
Investigation
On October 6, 2022, Braedan’s vehicle, a white Chevy Impala with North Carolina tag #DZ6366, was spotted by highway cameras in Walterboro, South Carolina.
On November 16, 2022, Braedan’s white Chevy Impala was found at an impound lot in Walterboro, South Carolina. Highway patrol had towed the car on October 6 at 7:00 pm, the same day Braedan was last seen.
Body Found on November 17, 2022
Braedan Rose’s body was found around noon on November 17, 2022, one day after his vehicle was found in South Carolina.
The discovery was made by Braedan’s uncle who went to the area where his vehicle was towed from. When his uncle arrived on the scene he found Braedan’s body, located about 25 feet away from where his vehicle had been found.
According a press release from the Colleton County Sheriff’s Office they found no evidence of foul play in his car are awaiting autopsy results to determine the cause of death.

White male with blonde hair and blue eyes. Braedan is 6’4 tall and weighs 250 pounds.
Distinctive Physical Features:
Braedan has a small noticeable scar under his left eye. He has an indentation on his chin.

Looks like he was found deceased this past Thursday. According to the Dateline Missing In America article, he was found v close to where his car was found. They said no foul play was suspected and he had a history of drug use.
