DNA samples taken from bones found in Hickman last month have been identified as belonging to Nicky Avent.
47 year old Avent was reported missing on March 3, 2025, though his last confirmed sighting was in February. His family told police that he may have been in need of medical attention.
He was last seen wearing a cream Dragonball Z shirt, green and tan camo Nike shorts, black crew socks, and low top white Nike’s.
The bones were discovered on September 14 by someone driving an ATV in a rural part of town. According to the medical examiner there were no signs of foul play.
