Earlier this morning the body of 7 year old Liam King was found, according to the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office. He was found in a pond near the area where he was initially reported missing.
During a press conference this afternoon, Randolph County Sheriff Greg Seabolt said Liam was in the care of his mother’s boyfriend when he went missing. His body was found about a tenth of a mile from the boyfriends home.
On September 7, 2025, Liam King was last seen in the area of Forest Hills Drive in Asheboro, North Carolina. He wandered away from home after being left unsupervised for a few minutes.
He was reported missing to the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office at 11:00 am.
