48 year old Beverly Meadows was last seen in Marshall, Texas on December 26, 2008. She disappeared after walking away from the Community Cares Nursing home on West Merritt Street.

Background

At the time of her disappearance, Beverly was living in the Community Cares Nursing Home, located on West Merritt Street in Marshall, Texas. She had lived there for about six years.

She was supposed to wear an ID bracelet that would have alerted the nursing home if she left, however she took it off before leaving.

Meadows has insulin dependent diabetes, asthma, and emotional problems. She requires daily medication which she does not have with her.

Beverly has relatives in Shreveport and Florien, Louisiana, as well as Elysian Fields, Texas. Prior to living in the nursing home she lived in the 700 block of Marcella Lane in Elysian Fields.

Beverly’s mother, who lives about 15 miles away from the nursing home, believes she was trying to walk to her residence.

Disappearance

Between 7:00 – 8:00 pm on December 26, 2008, Beverly Meadows walked away from the Community Cares Nursing Home where she was a patient, located at 207 West Merritt Street in Marshall, Texas.

Beverly hasn’t been seen or heard from since.

Investigation

Beverly left all her personal belongings behind at the nursing home, including the daily medication she requires.

Authorities, with the help of a canine unit, searched nearby creeks and abandoned properties close to where Beverly disappeared, but found no clues as to her whereabouts.

Whereabouts

The location of Beverly Meadows, as well as the circumstances surrounding her disappearance, remains unknown. Her case is classified as endangered missing and remains unsolved.

Appearance

White female born on December 31, 1959. Beverly has brown hair (graying), brown eyes, stands 5’3 tall, and weighs 240 pounds. She has a small mole under her left eye.

Clothing & Accessories:
Beverly was last seen wearing a navy pull on t-shirt with the Harley Davidson logo on the front, blue jeans, and black flip flops.
