Disappearance
On the evening of January 15, 2020, April Bailey was last seen leaving her basement apartment on Lynn Street in Nashua, New Hampshire to take out the trash.
April never returned home and hasn’t been heard from since.
On January 20, 2020, her family filed a missing person’s report with the Nashua Police Department when they couldn’t contact her.
Investigation
All of April Bailey’s personal belongings were left behind at home, including her cell phone and purse.
Bailey had a history of substance abuse according to her family, but she was reportedly clean and sober at the time of her disappearance. She was living separately from her children but kept in regular contact with them.
On March 15, 2021, the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Boston office joined the investigation into April’s disappearance, which is now classified as missing under suspicious circumstances.
On April 27, 2021, authorities conducted a search of the woods and water at the end of Burke Street in Nashua with the help of dive teams and k-9 units, but found no signs of April.

April has several tattoos; a butterfly tattoo on her right shoulder, the name “Damien” on her right ankle, “Isaiah”, “Savahna” and “Manuel” on her left leg, and “Sister” on her shoulder.
Her ears and upper lip are pierced and she has a scar down the center of her spine.
Clothing and accessories:
April was last seen wearing a black jacket with a fur-trimmed hood, black pajama pants, and pink/black Nike slippers.
