25 year old Andreas Marts was last seen in Leavenworth, Kansas on July 16, 2010. Marts suffers from schizophrenia, and was agitated and delusional when he went missing.

Disappearance

On July 16, 2010, Andreas Marts was last seen in Leavenworth, Kansas. He had recently been released from the hospital. 

Marts suffers from schizophrenia and was very agitated and delusional at the time of his disappearance. He had begun speaking to family members and friends about cleansing himself in the River for God.

Marts’ car, shoes, and wallet were found near the Riverfront Park boat ramp in Leavenworth. The Missouri River was at it’s highest level in decades at the time, and had washed away several encampments and killed dozens.

It appears as if Andreas may have jumped into the Missouri River, though his body has never been found.

Appearance

White male with brown hair and brown eyes. Andreas stands 5’10-6’2 tall and weighs 150-170 pounds.

Andreas has had had multiple reconstructive surgeries on his face and mouth due to a rare disorder called Parry Romberg. Due to the surgeries, there may be extensive or abnormal hardware or wiring on his lower and upper jaw. Dental anomalies may be present as well.
