On July 6, 2013, Amanda called her sister and asked to be picked up the next day.
On July 7, 2013, Amanda was last seen in the 300 block of Buxton Avenue in Springfield, Ohio. Amanda Romine hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
On August 9, 2013, her family filed a missing person’s report with the Springfield Police Department when they couldn’t contact her.
Investigation
Since 2013 there have been dozens of search parties and leads followed, but her location remains unknown.
Authorities named Amanda’s husband, Daniel Michael Romine, a person of interest in her disappearance. The couple had a history of domestic violence and both of them were substance abusers.
Daniel Michael Romine was uncooperative with the investigation, and his home on Avondale Avenue in Springfield was searched for clues in January 2015.
On December 13, 2015, 43-year-old Daniel Michael Romine was found dead in the living room of his home in Springfield, Ohio. He was reportedly found on his knees with his face on the couch.
