19-year-old Alivia Kail was last seen in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania on March 5, 2011. She disappeared after going on a trip with her boyfriend to Florida.
Alivia Christine Kail was born on October 16, 1991 to parents Gerald Kail and Christine Didiano. She is the youngest of five children.
At the time of her disappearance, Alivia was living with a roommate in an apartment in Mount Washington, Pennsylvania. She had been in a relationship with 22 year old Alexander P. Lorenzi for about 6 months.
Alivia Kail was last seen on March 5, 2011 in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania when she went to retrieve some clothes at her brother’s home in the 500 block of Edgewood Avenue.
Alivia told her brother that she was going on a trip to Miami, Florida with her boyfriend, Alexander P. Lorenzi, who would be paying for everything. The pair drove off in his vehicle, a red Ford Explorer with a Pittsburgh Steelers emblem.
On March 16, 2011, Lorenzi returned to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania without Alivia.
On March 19, 2011, her family filed a missing person’s report with the Allegheny County Police Department when they couldn’t contact her.
Alivia’s cell phone was shut off on March 5, 2011. The last ping was near the Allegheny County Airport in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania.
Alivia’s boyfriend, Alexander P. Lorenzi, was uncooperative with authorities and gave conflicting stories about her whereabouts, claiming that she was still in Florida or that he dropped her off at her Mount Washington apartment.
On March 30, 2011 authorities executed a search warrant at Lorenzi’s home and found marijuana, cocaine, and a stolen gun among other things. He pleaded guilty to charges of possession and receiving stolen property. He subsequently served three months in jail for those charges.
Authorities were unable to find any evidence connecting him to Alivia’s disappearance.
In May 2013, authorities searched a wooded area behind the Allegheny County Airport in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, where her cell phone last pinged before being shut off. No signs of Alivia were found during the search.
Police found no evidence of foul play in Alivia Kail’s disappearance, but the FBI believes she may be a victim of sex trafficking.
The circumstances of Alivia Kail’s disappearance remain unclear and her case is currently classified as missing. Her case remains unsolved.
White female born on October 16, 1991. Alivia has brown hair, green/blue eyes, stands 5’0 – 5’1 tall, and weighs 110 pounds.
Distinctive Physical Features:
Alivia has a tattoo of a blue lily with swirls on her right hip. Her ears, nose, and right upper lip are pierced.
Clothing and accessories:
Alivia was last seen wearing a black short-sleeved shirt, jeans, sneakers or UGG boots, and a diamond nose stud.
